Sculpture Students Camp Out on Campus

Tonight, Professor Bryce Brimer’s sculpture class will spend the night sheltered by their own works of art.

As part of a class project, the class built sculptures from repurposed materials that can serve as primitive shelters. Beginning at 7 p.m., the students will camp out between Baird Hall and Will Rogers Auditorium. The shelters are constructed from discarded materials such as an old papasan chair, car parts and trash bags.

Students, faculty and staff are invited to visit the campgrounds to enjoy the sculptures and meet the artists.

The sculptures will remain on display until Wednesday afternoon.
