The Student Health Center provides services to students, faculty and staff. Any fees incurred at the Health Center are due at the time of service. 

  • Cash, check and major credit cards accepted
  • Must show a valid RSU ID
  • Anyone seen off-campus for medical services is responsible for those charges.

Student Visit – no charge

Faculty/Staff – $20 per visit (We do not treat workers comp injuries.)

There may be additional fees for labs that need to be sent out for processing. The Student Health Center does not have x-ray facilities. Referrals may be necessary in some instances. The student, faculty and staff are responsible for any expenses incurred through the referral process.

What We Treat

Below is a list of services that the Student Health Center can provide. The Student Health Center is not designed to substitute for the role of your Primary Care Provider or to manage chronic health conditions. Please visit your primary care provider for regular long-term care. If you do not have a primary care provider, the Student Health Center can help you connect you to one.

Treatment of Minor Illnesses and Injuries:

  • Respiratory infections
  • Sore throats
  • Seasonal allergies
  • Headaches
  • Abdominal pain
  • Urinary tract infections
  • Sexually transmitted infections
  • Eye infections
  • Rashes
  • Minor cuts and burns

Medications:

The Student Health Center has limited medications. There is a fee for medications if prescribed.  Contact the Student Health Center if you have further questions.

Diagnostic Testing:

The Student Health Center offers limited diagnostic testing that includes a fee. Please contact the Student Health Center if you have further questions.

  • Dipstick urine
  • Strep screens
  • Flu test
  • Pregnancy tests

Additional lab work can be drawn but will require an additional fee. The patient will be responsible for any charges incurred.
