The Rogers State University Foundation provides awards for approximately 150 privately-funded scholarships each year. These scholarships are made possible by generous contributions of alumni, friends, foundations, corporations and area businesses. These scholarships are managed separately from University scholarships and require a separate application. The Foundation offers two types of scholarships.
- Endowed scholarships require certain criteria to be met, such as an academic major, classification, a minimum GPA, a hometown within a defined geographic location, etc. Almost all academic departments have endowed scholarships available, although some departments have more than others.
- Unrestricted scholarships are awarded based solely on financial need, and will require proof of need.

Come Back Hillcats
The Rogers State University Foundation has announced it will award up to $500 in scholarships per individual for students who previously were enrolled at RSU, but did not attend classes in the Fall 2021 semester. The scholarships will be available for use in the Spring 2022 semester for students who enroll in at least 12 credit hours. Enrollment for the Spring semester is currently open. Spring 2022 classes begin January 10. Funds for these scholarships are limited and will be awarded in the order in which they are received.
The Anne and Henry Zarrow Foundation Restricted Scholarship is administered by the Foundation and requires a separate application form. A list of eligibility criteria is listed here (pdf).
