The Associate of Science in Physical Science consists of general education curriculum and discipline-specific courses allowing emphasis in three options:
The stated purposes of the department are to:
- Demonstrate a thorough knowledge and understanding of basic physical science principles and their applications.
- Demonstrate problem solving skills through critical thinking and the scientific method.
- Explain and predict quantitative, analytical and graphical situations.
- Demonstrate an ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data.
