When it comes to receiving financial aid refunds and managing your money, Rogers State University has partnered with BankMobile Disbursements because we firmly believe that you deserve choices. You can choose an electronic deposit to an existing account or electronic deposit to an optional BankMobile Vibe account. Please note that BankMobile Vibe is one of your refund options but you are not required to open this account.
All student refunds will be distributed according to the method chosen by each student through the BankMobile website for student refund processing. Students will need to choose their method of refund delivery by using the personal code they will receive in the mail. Once a student signs on to the BankMobile website, they are in complete control of how and where their refund will be delivered. Your Refund Selection Kit will be mailed to your current address on file with the university. If you’re not sure that RSU has your current mailing address, please take a moment to visit MyRSU and update your address information today.
Watch for this Refund Selection Kit in the Mail
Do not throw away this green envelope! Students MUST select a preference on how you receive your refund money. Even if you are not currently expecting a refund from RSU, we may have a refund for you in the future.
A credit balance may come from payment of grants, scholarships or loans credited to a student’s account, from overpayment of charges, or from adjustments for tuition, fees, or housing. Financial aid funds disbursed to a student’s account are first credited to the student’s educationally related charges of tuition, fees, room, board and books or other charges as authorized by the student. Once education expenses are paid in full and if a credit balance remains, the credit balance is refundable to the student.
A disbursement is when the financial aid funds are applied to your Student Account. If you have any excess funds, student accounts refunds are issued AFTER the disbursement date by approximately 2 weeks.
