At the Rogers State University Writing Center, we believe that all students in all stages of writing can benefit from advice and feedback. We will do our best to answer questions concerning all things writing.
We help students from all majors and disciplines at all stages of writing, from brainstorming to final drafts. The Writing Center is intended as a quiet place for the development and improvement of written work. This includes papers written as assignments for classes and professional or creative projects.
In addition to getting help from a writing tutor, students are welcome to quietly type and print papers and to utilize our writing resource library.
Please Note: Papers will be reviewed during regular business hours. During peak times (around Mid-Term and Finals), we will be very busy. Plan ahead and prepare your draft for review at least 2-3 days before the paper is due. We cannot and will not schedule appointments to assist with papers on the date they are due.
The Writing Center offers a quiet space for students to work on assignments as well as receive assistance. We offer a variety of equipment for use along with reserve texts on hand for students to utilize.
