What is the First Day Program?

The First Day Program will include the cost of digital course materials with class fees for a particular course. When you register for a First Day course, the cost of required course materials is added to your tuition and fees bill. The materials will be available on the first day of class automatically, so you can get started on assignments immediately.

What are the benefits of the First Day Program?

You are prepared on the first day of class with all your required materials. First Day materials are accessible online so they go where you go, on any device you choose. First Day class materials are the lowest price available from the publisher.

Can I opt out of the First Day Program?

If you do not want to participate in the program, you have until the official census date to opt out of the program.

What if I opt out, but change my mind?

You are allowed to opt in and out of the program until the official census date. After the census date, you will have to source your course required materials elsewhere and will no longer be eligible to purchase at program pricing.

What if I want a physical copy of the textbook?

Most publishers give the option of purchasing a loose-leaf copy of the book through the campus bookstore for an additional fee. The loose-leaf copy can also be ordered online from the bookstore and shipped directly to your home.

How do I pay for my First Day course materials?

The fee for the digital course materials is automatically added to the tuition and fees for the class. This fee applies only to First Day classes. It is applied each time you register for a First Day class, including if a class is repeated.

How do I access First Day course required materials?

Your instructor will provide you with the necessary information to access your materials. You can also access the digital course materials directly from the publisher’s website. First-time users will need to create an account with the publisher providing the class materials. Please ensure the pop-up blocker is disabled within the browser during use.

I still have questions; who can I talk to for help?
