RSU Public Television to Present Live ‘Oklahoma Legislative Update’ June 4

A live, one-hour call-in show titled “Oklahoma Legislative Update” will air at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 4, on RSU Public Television.

The program will be moderated by Wayne Greene, city editor of the Tulsa World.

Area legislators will appear live on the program, including Rep. Chris Benge, R-Tulsa, who is Speaker of the House, Sen. Sean Burrage, D-Claremore, Rep. Tad Jones, R-Claremore and Rep. Ben Sherrer, D-Pryor.

The discussion will focus on the most recent session of the Oklahoma Legislature, which concluded on May 22, including legislation passed and unresolved issues.

RSU Public TV is licensed to Rogers State University and is the only public television station to be operated by a university in Oklahoma. The station, based on the RSU campus in Claremore, reaches more than a million people within a 75-mile radius of the campus.

RSU Public TV broadcasts on digital channel 35.1 and 35.2, Tulsa and Claremore cable channel 19, Cable Channel 4 in Bartlesville and satellite channel 35 across northeastern Oklahoma.
