The Rogers State University Jazz Ensemble will present its spring concert on Monday, March 28, on the RSU campus.
The concert, which is free and open to the public, will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Will Rogers Auditorium on the Claremore campus.
The concert will feature a variety of jazz music, from the big band and swing era to jazz fusion of the late 20th Century, said Dr. Kirk Weller, RSU associate professor and director of bands.
In addition, auditions for music scholarships will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 2, in the performance studio of Baird Hall. All interested students are invited to participate in the auditions, Weller said.
