RSU Foundation to Host Claremore Scholarship Breakfast March 28

Scholarship Fundraising Breakfast Mar. 28 8 am

Sponsorships are still available for one of the Rogers State University Foundation’s biggest fundraisers of the year: the RSU Foundation Claremore Scholarship Breakfast.

Slated for Thursday, March 28, at 8 a.m. in the Dr. Carolyn Taylor Center Ballroom on the Claremore campus, the annual breakfast returns to raise funds for scholarships for students attending Rogers State University in Claremore, Pryor and Bartlesville.

Cost to attend the breakfast is free, but donations to the scholarship program are “always appreciated and graciously received,” said RSU Senior Director of Development Tonni Harrald.

The RSU Foundation encourages individuals, businesses and groups small or large to show their support for RSU students through becoming event sponsors or advertisers.

“To be an advertiser, the cost is $250 which includes putting a business card or note of support to the students in the program,” Harrald said, “and sponsorships are always our biggest source of revenue, with several tiers of sponsorship opportunities available, starting at $700.

“This is the best way for people to invest in the future of our students by investing in them and helping turn their dreams of getting an education into a reality,” she said. “We cannot express our appreciation of our sponsors and advertisers enough, not just with this breakfast but their support throughout the year. Their donations – of whatever amount – are so appreciated and genuinely help transform lives, creating a better future for our students.”

Early sponsorships for the 2024 Claremore Scholarship Breakfast include President’s Circle sponsors Pennie and Steve Savage; Hillcat Hero sponsors RCB Bank & RCB Bank Trust & Wealth Management, Nick Harris – Edward Jones, Lindel and Janette Stephens, and Trust Company of Oklahoma; and Red and Blue sponsors Hillcrest Hospital Claremore, Utica Park Clinic, Valencia Media Solutions, Animal Medical Center – Dr. Ed Gilsleider, DVM, Kemp Quarries, BancFirst, Will Rogers Downs – Cherokee Casino, Eason Collision Specialists, Inc., and Bank of Commerce.
