Boosting Pryor Small Businesses Goal of New Hire at RSU Innovation Center

The Rogers State University Innovation Center is increasing its commitment to small businesses in Pryor with the hiring of Cyndi Moore as the Business Development Specialist.

Moore is already instrumental in serving small businesses as a part of the RSU Small Business Development Center. Cyndi holds a B.S. in Marketing from Northeastern State University and serves as an active member on the Locust Grove School Board and Owasso Children’s Home.

A previous business owner herself, Moore brings with her a wealth of first-hand experience in management, business development, and operations. She will split time between the RSU Innovation Center in Claremore and RSU Pryor.

Right now, entrepreneurs looking to start a new business in Pryor are directed by the Pryor Area Chamber of Commerce to the Innovation Center at RSU. Those business owners are now able to stay in Pryor.

“We couldn’t be more delighted that Cyndi will be working with entrepreneurs in Pryor. Having a resource like her is essential,” Pryor Area Chamber of Commerce President Barbara Hawkins said. “I’m looking forward to watching new businesses grow and prosper with Cyndi’s help.”

Oklahoma Small Business Development Centers assist small business owners and new entrepreneurs by providing no charge, one-on-one business management advising, business management workshops and business technical assistance.
