RSU Announces Return to Full Capacity for Fall 2021

Rogers State University has announced two upcoming milestones as it works to restore the college experience at each of its campuses in Claremore, Bartlesville and Pryor. This includes two outdoor in-person commencement ceremonies in May and a return to full capacity in-person instruction for the fall 2021 semester.

“Under the guidance of our COVID-19 Taskforce, I am pleased to share with you that Rogers State University is planning a more fully-restored college experience for the fall 2021 semester,” RSU President Dr. Larry Rice said. “This includes resuming in-person classes at regular capacity university-wide with necessary safety precautions. Classes designed for in-person delivery will be held face-to-face on campus this fall semester.”

University officials will continue to monitor conditions and will provided ongoing updates and guidance to its students. At this time all health and safety protocols remain in place.

Rice noted the ongoing contributions of each member of the RSU community in his statement.

“This is possible because of the ongoing diligence of each member of our RSU community and the availability of multiple vaccines leading to widespread inoculation against the COVID-19 virus.”

Enrollment opens to prospective students on Monday, March 29. Commencement ceremonies are scheduled for Saturday, May 8 at Soldier Field on the Claremore campus.
