In collaboration Student Affairs and Academic Computing Services, RSU Libraries invites you to Get Connected with our digital resources during this two day come and go event. Bring your personal devices (smart phones, tablets, laptops) to get the most of your experience here at RSU by making sure you can always access the content you want for enjoyment and course work! This event is also an invitation for University Staff and Faculty to reconnect with the Library and make sure they are able to effectively use our newest digital resources like OverDrive, Flipster, and Kanopy. Enjoy free coffee, cookies, and pastries while you work one-on-one with a Librarian or an ACS representative to make sure you are ready for this academic year!

Mechelle Brown, Member of the Tulsa Race Riot Centennial Commission and the Program Coordinator for the Greenwood Cultural Center will be speaking about the decision to change the name of the Commission and relabel this important historical event as a race massacre. This Lunch & Learn will be live streamed to our RSU Libraries Facebook and Instagram accounts, and will be later uploaded to our RSU YouTube page for those who cannot attend. A free lunch will be provided for the first 25 attendees.

Dr. Eileen Richardson, Assistant Professor at Cameron University, will be discussing the newest format in print reading, graphic novels. Graphic novels are not the same as comics and they are available in innumerable genres, but not all parents and educators are fond of them. This event is open to the University and the Surrounding Community. Lunch will be provided for the first 20 attendees. This event will be live streamed on our RSU Facebook and Instagram pages and recorded for those who cannot attend.
