TTCU Donates to Proceeds from School Pride Visa Check Card to RSU

TTCU The Credit Union on Friday made a check presentation to Rogers State University President Dr. Larry Rice that will be used to support the university and its students.

Bryan Bradley, TTCU branch manager for Claremore, presented the $1,068.30 check during a Friday afternoon homecoming event on the Claremore campus.

The TTCU donation represents proceeds raised from users of the RSU Hillcat-branded Visa Check Card, available from the credit union as part of its School Pride program. The program provides its beneficiary schools with a small donation for every time a user swipes a school-branded card.

“The TTCU School Pride program provides a fun, easy way for students, employees, alumni and parents to show their school loyalty with every purchase they make. We’re honored to partner with great schools, like Rogers State, to help make a difference for students in Green Country,” Bradley said.

Since its inception in 2007, schools in northeastern Oklahoma have received more than $420,000 in donations through the program.

“We are honored to partner with TTCU in the School Pride program and the recent donation will be used where it is most needed to benefit our students,” Rice said.
