Senior Nursing Students Present Change Project Capstones

Rogers State University senior nursing students presented their Change Project Capstone displays May 3 in the Dr. Carolyn Taylor Center Ballroom on the RSU campus in Claremore.

According to Health Sciences Department Head Dr. Carla Lynch, graduating seniors, as part of the Leadership and Management in Nursing class, are required to develop a capstone presentation consisting of a research-based problem for which they develop interventions. In small groups, the students make a formal poster presenting the problem, data and proposed solutions to said problem.

This final project represents the culmination of two-year’s worth of research and work in the nursing program and demonstrates the students’ readiness to enter the workforce and tackle real-life problems.
