Rogers State University will offer a Self Defense Act permit course – required by the state of Oklahoma to carry a concealed handgun – on Saturday, June 30.
The course will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at RSU’s Rifle Range. The cost is $60 per person. Pre-registration is required one week prior to the course.
Upon completion of this one-day course, participants may file applications with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation to obtain an Oklahoma Self Defense Act permit.
Participants will be required to bring a handgun and 50 rounds of new factory ammunition to the course.
The courses are sponsored by RSU’s Division of Continuing Education.
