RSU to Host International Experts for Cybersecurity Discussion Panel Oct. 17

Recognizing the growing need to protect individuals and organizations against cyberattacks, Rogers State University will host a seven-person discussion panel highlighting the importance and methodologies of uniting networking and security. The event will take place Tuesday, Oct. 17, from 10 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. in the Herrington Hall Auditorium Room 146 on the RSU campus in Claremore as part of National Cybersecurity Awareness Month.

The panel will feature international cybersecurity specialists from California-based security company Infoblox, all of whom will bring their areas of expertise to the conversation. The panel discussion will conclude with a question-and-answer session.

Infoblox is a privately held IT automation and security company based in California’s Silicon Valley that focuses on managing and identifying devices connected to networks, specifically for the Domain Name System, Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol, and IP address management.

Panelists for the event will include:

Earl CulverEarl Culver of Claremore, Oklahoma, is senior director of solutions architecture for the America’s at Infoblox. Culver is an alumnus of Rogers State College and Oklahoma City University.

 

 

Allen McNaughtonAllen McNaughton of Leesburg, Virginia, is director of solutions architecture, public sector at Infoblox and leads the technical design and support for federal, state, and local agencies and the education vertical. He also ensures Infoblox maintains the highest level of government certifications across product lines.

 

Jose CaneladaJose Canelada of Madrid, Spain, has served in multiple cybersecurity roles in various companies across Europe, notably, as associated researcher for Telefonica, helping to develop the first quantum cryptography network in Europe, and as cybersecurity analyst for Bank of Spain. He is currently senior director of solutions architecture for Europe, Middle East and Africa at Infoblox.

 

Gary CoxGary Cox of London, England, is currently technical director for UK and Ireland for Infoblox and has held numerous local and international roles over the years. He is a regular speaker at cybersecurity events, both in person and via webinars.

 

 

Yong Kwang KekYong Kwang Kek of Singapore, is an IP professional with more than 30 years of experience in the industry, serving as senior director for the APJ Solutions Architect team at Infoblox, where he has been leading a team of 30 pre-sales network and security experts for the past eight years. His primary focus at Infoblox is helping customers automate their core network services, optimize security operations, and secure against emerging threats in a hybrid multi-cloud environment.

Victor DanevichVictor Danevich of Boston, Massachusetts, is a Field CTO Solution Architect at Infoblox, where he manages the worldwide Pre-Sales Solution Architect teams. He is responsible for bringing the voice of the customer and aligning product development priorities with product management and engineering teams.

 

Stephen MakouskyStephen Makousky serves as Principal SME for Emerging Technologies at Infoblox. In this role, he spearheads the Early Access program, which he helped build from the ground up, engages with customers to provide hands-on experience with Infoblox’s latest innovations, gathering valuable feedback to help refine and shape future products.
