Rogers State University students majoring in Bachelor of Arts in Public Affairs and faculty attended a special ceremony in Claremore where Governor Kevin Stitt signed official commutation papers for Rhonda Bear.

At the November 7 ceremony, Stitt pardoned Bear of multiple drug offenses due to her work of  rehabilitating other women and her efforts to help them effectively transition to life outside of a correctional facility.

Bear is best known for her work with SheBrews Coffee House, a local faith-based workplace committed to helping released prisoners gain valuable work experience.
