Rogers State University honor student Jacob Daniel recently attended the Nigh Leadership Academy as a representative of RSU.
Each year, Oklahoma colleges and universities submit an undergraduate candidate to the academy. This year more than 30 students participated in the program.
Daniel, a freshman political science major and graduate of Claremore High School, said he learned about leadership and politics, and participated in discussions about current issues in politics and business at the Nigh Academy.
The Nigh Academy is in its 11th year and has provided scholarships to more than 350 students since its inception, said Carl Reherman, Nigh Academy director.
