The music program at Rogers State University is seeking members for its Pep Band and Choir.
The ensembles are seeking RSU students as well as non-student members of the community to sign up for the spring semester, according to Dr. Phillip Payne, RSU director of bands and music instructor.
The RSU Pep Band is a volunteer organization designed to support Hillcat athletic teams, including men’s and women’s basketball. Participation is open to everyone and all instruments are needed, Payne said. The ensemble will perform at all home basketball games this semester.
The RSU Choir is seeking new members for its performance schedule this spring. The choir will rehearse at 6 p.m. each Monday night during the spring semester. Auditions will not be required.
