Rogers State University now offers a completely online MBA degree program at a price lower than most major universities.

Specifically designed to meet the needs of today’s online student, Oklahoma residents can complete the MBA@RSU program for about $10,880 in total residential tuition and fees, which is among the most competitively priced programs in both Oklahoma and the nation. The MBA@RSU can be completed in 18 months using eight-week courses that are fully delivered online. No GRE or GMAT test is required for entrance.

“As we developed the MBA@RSU program, we focused on our students’ needs and built the program to be affordable, achievable and feasible,” said RSU President Larry Rice. “Converting our successful MBA into full online delivery allows us to deliver a top-tier graduate business education to our students, while also serving the needs for our region’s business and industry.”

The Master of Business Administration degree has historically been among the most in-demand master’s degree programs for its return on investment to students, while employers seek MBA graduates for their demonstrated ability to think critically and solve complex problems, Rice said.

The MBA@RSU online courses are being designed to meet rigid national standards through the Quality Matters™ program, the nation’s premier online certification program measuring effectiveness of online instructional course design. A public, regional four-year university fully accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, RSU has embraced Quality Matters for its online courses and degree programs.

Susan Willis, Dean of RSU’s School of Professional Studies, said converting the MBA program to full online delivery is a natural progression for RSU’s MBA degree, which has been operating at capacity since the on-ground version was launched nearly six years ago.

“Delivering our MBA program online provides convenience and flexibility for working professionals and recent graduates with bachelor’s degrees in any field from an accredited school,” Willis said. “To help students who have a bachelor’s degree in a non-business field, we’ve developed a single online preparation course and that prepares them for entry into our MBA@RSU program.”

The MBA@RSU’s accelerated format and its eight-week class format allows new students to have five different times each year they can enroll: January, March, June, August, and October. Apply by Oct. 7 for Oct. 14 start date. Out-of-state residents should inquire about tuition rates.
