RSU to Host Big Tent Day for Area Businesses

Rogers State University invites area business and organizations to promote their services, job openings, discounts and volunteer opportunities to students at the 2021 Big Tent Day event on August 18. Big Tent Day was canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Coming out of an unprecedented year, RSU students are eager to get involved on campus,” Katie Warnick, coordinator of student activities, said. “We hope to reawaken the tradition of Big Tent Day this academic year by helping students form partnership with local businesses.”

Additionally, RSU’s career services, in conjunction with student activities, will host a part-time job fair. Campus departments will also showcase respective degree options, student organizations, student employment opportunities and campus resources.

The event will be held on the lawn of the Dr. Carolyn Taylor Center at RSU Claremore from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is free for students and exhibitors. Businesses and organization must register at www.rsu.edu/bigtentday.
