RSU Goes To the Center of the Universe with the Route 66 Marathon

Rogers State University faculty and staff went to the “Center of the Universe” while participating in the Route 66 Marathon Relay on Sunday, November 19.

RSU’s team, the “Fabulous Five” included Bob Willis, Professor, Madeline Lambing, Coordinator of Student Activities, Calli Knight, Coordinator of Career Services, Angi Long, Assistant Registrar, and Scott Murray, Collection Development Librarian. Each ran a leg of the 26.2 mile marathon and completed it in 5:06:25, placing 76th in our division and 141st overall out of 213 teams. 

Dr. Brent Marsh, Vice President for Student Affairs, also ran his first marathon at this year’s Route 66 event, finishing in 4:20:14 while rocking Hillcat gear the entire time.
