Students at Rogers State University will not see an increase in tuition and mandatory fees during the next year.

In a budget presentation to the University of Oklahoma Board of Regents today in Ardmore, RSU President Dr. Don Raleigh said the school was committed to holding the line on tuition and fee costs, despite facing mandatory cost increases.

“Affordability and accessibility remain two of RSU’s highest priorities,” Raleigh said. “We are grateful to the Legislature for maintaining our funding level and for making targeted investments that allow us to fulfill our mission.

“Projected growth in enrollment and finding operational efficiencies will allow RSU to maintain current tuition and fee rates. We will always strive to not let cost be a barrier for students.”

A block tuition model that allows full-time students to take 12 credit hours or more for a single rate also has proven to be a cost-saving model as students are enrolling in more credit hours per semester, cutting the time to graduation.

RSU will seek final approval for its fiscal year 2026 budget from the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education at their meeting June 26.
