Rogers State University Announces 2024 Homecoming Candidates

Rogers State University has announced the candidates for 2024 homecoming king and queen.

Winners will be announced during halftime of the RSU men’s basketball game this Saturday, Feb. 3, at the Claremore Expo Center.

Candidates for homecoming queen are (front row, from left): Jackie Zaferes, senior, communications major, Verdigris; Gabbi Mobarak, senior, history major, Yukon; Jensyn McCain, junior, medical molecular biology major, of Ramona; and Riley Coleman, junior, health science – pre-physical therapy major, Watonga.

Candidates for homecoming king are (back row, from left): Logan Hayes, freshman, pre-physical therapy major, Claremore; Alejandro Tapio, sophomore, pre-physical therapy major, Prague; Ben Brown, junior, IT software multimedia development major, Owasso; and Carolos Vallejo, senior, pre-athletic training, Enid.

The RSU women’s basketball team will play against Emporia State at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, and the men’s team will follow, also against Emporia State, at 4 p.m. in the Claremore Expo Center. During halftime of the men’s game, in addition to announcing homecoming royalty, the 2024 Athletics Hall of Fame inductees will be recognized.

RSU homecoming 2024 commemorative t-shirts will be available for purchase at the game.
