The Dr. Carolyn Taylor Center rotunda was the site of a birthday party 18 years in the making Friday, as RSU students, faculty, staff and community members turned out en masse to wish RSU mascot Hunter the Hillcat a happy birthday. “Hunter’s Birthday Bash” included free cookies, Hunter posters and artwork, an iPad giveaway, and Hunter himself, who was on hand for photo ops. Attendees were all encouraged to write birthday wishes on an oversized card which was presented to Hunter for the occasion.
