Construction on Highway 20 on Claremore’s west side may impact some Rogers State University commuters starting next week.
The Oklahoma Department of Transportation is widening a stretch of Highway 20 starting west of the intersection of Clubhouse Road/Southhaven Road just past Westside Elementary School.
Starting the week of February 29, traffic on Clubhouse Road and Southhaven Road will become one-way through early June. The entire widening project is scheduled to be completed in late June.
Clubhouse Road will be closed to southbound traffic at the Highway 20 intersection, while Southhaven Road will be closed to northbound traffic at the intersection.
Students, faculty and staff who use either of these roads for their commute will need to find alternate routes.
