How to Apply for a Scholarship

Your application for admission serves as an application for an Academic Tuition Waiver. These academic scholarships are awarded based on an applicant’s GPA, ACT test scores, date of admission and date of enrollment. Priority consideration will be given to students enrolled before May 15. Eligible applicants enrolled after May 15 will be placed on a waiting list and awarded as funds become available.

Students must meet all scholarship requirements to be considered:

Valedictorian Scholar min 20 ACT 3.00 GPA $2000/year – 2 years
Hilltop Scholar (Top 5% of class) min 20 ACT 3.00 GPA $2000/year – 2 years

Scholarship Renewal Requirements

  • Must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or above
  • Must be enrolled as a full-time degree seeking student
  • Must successfully complete a minimum of 24 credit hours each academic year
  • Must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) each academic year

Upon expiration of the Valedictorian or Hilltop Scholar scholarships, students will automatically be considered for the next level tuition waiver scholarship (see Current or Transfer students).
