The Testing Center at Rogers State University provides testing and assessment for entering and current students. All students must have a valid physical photo ID for all exams.
Accuplacer Testing
RSU placement tests are used to assess a student’s academic skills in science, reading, writing and math (Quantitative Reasoning, Algebra, & Statistics). The results of these exams are used to match students with appropriate RSU courses.
Students may attempt placement testing in science, math, reading and writing twice but must wait 24 hours before attempting it a second time. The first attempt is free for RSU students. There is a $5 fee for each retest.
Math, reading and writing tests are untimed, but on average, each takes approximately 30 minutes to complete. The science test is timed at 20 minutes.
Any Accuplacer testing that is for another institution will cost that student $20 per exam. Find out more information about ACCUPLACER tests and practice questions.
