RSU Hosts 51st Annual Conference of the Rocky Mountain Educational Research Association

    RSU hosted the 51st Annual Conference of the Rocky Mountain Educational Research Association April 25.

Rogers State University recently hosted the 51st Annual Conference of the Rocky Mountain Educational Research Association (RMERA).

Held Friday, April 25, on the RSU campus in Claremore, the conference was an opportunity for faculty and students to showcase quality research and network with various professionals and other students in the field of arts and sciences education.

This year’s conference theme was “Research Reinvigorated.” 

Paper presentations were made by RSU faculty members including Dr. Tom Gerard, Dr. Donna Sharp, Dr. Sara Moon-Seo, Dr. David Bath, Dr. Michelle Taylor and Dr. Mary Millikin.

Paper presentations also were made by Renee Cowan, Kimberly Phillips and Barbara Jones of Northeastern State University, and several RSU students participated in poster presentations.

RMERA is a regional affiliate of the American Educational Research Association (AERA) that focuses on encouraging quality educational research and fostering a supportive environment for researchers and educators, particularly in the Rocky Mountain West region, which includes Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Nevada, Oklahoma, Utah, and Wyoming.

RMERA hosts an annual conference and publishes a peer-reviewed journal called “Educational Research: Theory & Practice.”
