Rogers State University graduate Abigail Ramos, along with two fellow RSU students, has been accepted into the Tulsa Police Academy. Vinita native Ramos, who graduated with a B.S. in justice administration during RSU’s commencement ceremony May 10, starts training at the Tulsa Police Academy in September 2025, with the goal of becoming a Tulsa Police Officer.
Also accepted into the Tulsa Police Academy were recent RSU graduate Alex Tuttle and RSU student Paul Huebert. Tuttle, a native of Jenks, also graduated May 10 with a Bachelor of Science in justice administration.
Huebert was the first RSU criminal justice student to be selected to attend the TPD Academy during his senior year under the Tulsa Police Department Partnership with RSU, and to earn RSU academic credit for CLEET Skills training completed during the 28-week TPD Academy. This training is applied to his transcript as academic credit and thus satisfies requirements for the BSJA Law COP Option degree.
