RSU’s Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Arts gives you the tools, training, and space to bring your ideas to life. With options in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Photographic Arts, and Studio Art, you can customize your degree to match your passion and professional goals. Whether you want to work as a designer, fine artist, educator, or creative leader, this program builds the technical skills and critical thinking you’ll need to thrive in the world of visual arts.

You’ll learn in professional-level studios, labs, and gallery spaces that prepare you for real-world creative careers. From sculpture to animation, photography to printmaking, your work—and your voice—will shine.

Options

Students can choose from the following pathways:

Graphic Design

The Graphic Design Option focuses on the basics of graphic design, as well as the latest technology in advanced digital imaging, digital photography, and consumer product package design.

Multimedia

The Multimedia Option incorporates elements of graphic design with digital three-dimensional art, animation and sequential art.

Photographic Arts

With the Photographic Arts Option, students will acquire specific knowledge and skills needed to function in a variety of careers associated with the discipline.

Studio Art

The Studio Art Option is based on the traditional disciplines of visual art including drawing, painting, printmaking, photography and sculpture.
