About the Program

Want to understand what drives people, shapes communities, and influences society? RSU’s Associate in Arts in Social Science offers a versatile, transfer-friendly degree that lets you explore human behavior while preparing for entry-level jobs in social services—or the next step in your academic journey.

In this program, you’ll take core social science courses and then tailor your studies with an emphasis in either psychology or sociology. It’s a flexible, engaging start to a future in social work, counseling, advocacy, or human resources.
