About the Program
If you’re curious about how people think, live, and work—and how communities function at large—this degree was built for you. The Bachelor of Science in Social Science at RSU is designed to give you a solid foundation in understanding human behavior, social systems, and research-based reasoning. You’ll hone your writing, presentation, and problem-solving skills in real-world settings, not just classrooms.
You’ll choose one of three unique tracks: Environmental Studies, Psychology, or Sociology. Each one offers hands-on learning through required internships—where you won’t just observe, but actively participate in the kind of work you could be doing after graduation. Past students have worked in youth services, nonprofit outreach, healthcare settings, and community development—many landing jobs from those very internships.
