This Programming Technician micro-credential is designed to meet the needs of aspiring coding and programmers who want to create their own games or APPS, or plan to attend a postsecondary program in game development, STEM, or animation, but might have little or no background in this subject matter. Completers are prepared to take Java SE 8 Oracle Certified Associate (OCA). The curriculum culminates with in-depth knowledge of debugging, problem-solving, interpreting the API, creating code, evaluating code, and navigating the interface.
