Rogers State University will offer a live video stream of its 100th Commencement ceremonies on the RSU website.
The free stream will be available at www.rsu.edu/commencement. This is the first time the university has provided the ability for viewing of commencement ceremonies live via the Internet.
“Providing a live stream of Commencement allows family and loved ones, no matter where they are in world, the opportunity to enjoy this milestone moment for the graduate,” said RSU President Dr. Larry Rice.
RSU’s 100th Commencement, featuring two ceremonies and more than 700 eligible graduates, will be held Saturday, May 5, at the Claremore Expo Center, 400 S. Veterans Pkwy. Attorney John W. Norman will deliver the commencement address at both ceremonies.
Graduates earning associate degrees will participate in a 10 a.m. ceremony, while graduates receiving bachelor’s degrees will walk during the 1 p.m. ceremony. Due to space concerns, tickets are required to attend the bachelor’s degree ceremony.
