RSU Staff Member Named To State Baseball Hall of Fame

Ron Bradley, physical education coordinator at Rogers State University, was inducted into the Oklahoma Baseball Coaches Hall of Fame during a Saturday night ceremony in Oklahoma City.

During his 16 years as a head coach, Bradley lead four teams to win state baseball championships while at Claremore, Jenks and West Fork (Ark.) high schools. He also coached one state runner-up and 11 regional championship teams. His overall record was 483-127.

Bradley teaches several physical fitness credit classes at RSU and oversees the university’s rugby and baseball clubs where students compete against other teams representing communities, organizations, and other university club teams. He joined RSU in 2003.

During his coaching career, Bradley was selected Oklahoma’s coach of the year three times by the Daily Oklahoman and the Tulsa World. He twice has been honored by national organizations as the regional coach of the year awards and is a four-time Oklahoma Baseball Coaches Association coach of the year.

He has served as president and vice president of the Oklahoma Baseball Coaches Association, and he has been a keynote speaker for state and national clinics.
