RSU Radio to Carry Baseball and Softball

Rogers State University baseball and softball fans can follow the Hillcats on the road this spring with RSU Radio 91.3 FM.

RSU Radio will serve as the “Home of the Hillcats” for eleven road dates this season. RSU Sports Information Director Ryan Bradley will handle the play-by-play duties for the Hillcats.

“As we continue to grow and expand our athletics program we want to make it easy for Hillcat fans to follow our teams,” said Wren Baker, RSU athletic director.  “I hope that RSU-Radio will allow people in northeasternOklahoma to follow our teams during some of the away games.  I am excited for the first broadcast.”

The radio schedule includes several marquee match-ups for both the softball and baseball programs. The first broadcast is set for Tuesday, Feb. 20, as the baseball Hillcats travel to Southern Nazarene University. Other notable dates include coverage of the softball Hillcats in the Oklahoma Baptist and Oklahoma City tournaments as well at tilts at Arkansas Tech and SNU. Listeners can catch the baseball Hillcats in action against University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma (USAO),Peru State,Oklahoma Baptist and Mid-America Christian University .
