About Me

Jenks, OK

B.S., Biology: Medical/Molecular Option
Rogers State University

Favorite aspect of RSU:
The opportunities! I was able to accomplish and experience so many things here, thanks to the various organizations and departments on campus.

Why I love my job:
So many mentors helped me along my college path. I may have completed my degree but my college journey will continue by helping others to reach their educational goals.

Favorite spot on campus:
The Dr. Carolyn Taylor Center Lawn. It’s beautiful and hosts many events throughout the year. Plus the sidewalk is great for longboarding!

Favorite RSU Sport:
Hillcat Soccer, of course!

Advice to prospective students:
Take advantage of as many experiences and opportunities as possible during your time here. The success of your college experience depends on what you put into it. You will not regret taking advantage of the opportunities available at Rogers State University!

Hi, my name is Rachel!

I am a University Recruiter here at Rogers State University. As a Rogers State Alumni, I have a strong passion for this University.

For me, Rogers State represents opportunity. Students have so many opportunities available here including scholarships, participation in great organizations, interactions with professors, and on-campus jobs.

I found my place at Rogers State by becoming involved in several organizations – Student Government Association, Greek Life, Student Theatre Organization, and the Honors Program.

I think the most important thing for students is to find their niche, and that can easily be done at Rogers State.

I started and ended at Rogers State (and even landed a job here!).

If you have any questions about what it takes to become a Hillcat, don’t hesitate to contact me. I would love to show you around my home on the Hill!
