RSU Pryor Mid America Campus

This three-day commuter camp will take place on the RSU Pryor campus, located in the MidAmerica Industrial Park.

  • For students going into 6th-8th grade
  • Camp is FREE and includes breakfast, lunch, and snacks

Participants will design, build and fly rockets and drones in fast-paced, team environment.

Students, under the guidance of expert math and science instructors will:

  • delve into laws of flight and motion
  • apply math concepts through construction and in-flight processes
  • develop fine motor skills and computer skills
  • learn the importance of safety and teamwork in the workplace
  • experience benefits of teamwork to work environment and project success

Projects will include:

  • Model Rocket – design, build, fly
  • Drone Flight Missions
    • Learning flight techniques through computer simulation software
    • Practical flight application involving mission-based activities and on-board cameras


Interested students must submit a registration form including a 250-350 essay and one recommendation letter. Applicants will be notified via email.
