Ready… Set… Go!

Students, be sure that you are ready to graduate!

You must complete all requirements for your degree.

  • Bachelor’s degree = 120 credit hours
  • Associate degree  = 60 credit hours

You must earn a combined retention/graduation GPA of at least 2.0 in all coursework.

No grade lower than “C” will be accepted for major or minor or in courses transferred from an out-of-state institution.

  Red Checkmark Submit Application for Graduation
 Spring graduates submit by November 1  Summer graduates by March 1  Fall graduates by June 1
  Red Checkmark Degree Completion Plan Worksheet
Must be completed with your Advisor.
Pay fee in the Bursar’s office.
    Financial Aid Exit Counseling
If you received any loans you must complete exit counseling.
*   Attend Commencement Countdown. This is a come-and-go event to prepare for graduation.
*   Confirm Graduation and Financial Status with the Registrar. Confirm that you are certified to graduate with the Registrar’s office (Bring Student ID). Confirm there are no holds on your account.
*   Ticket pick-up will begin during Commencement Countdown. Following the event, tickets will be available in person Mon-Fri, 10 am – 4 pm in Meyer Hall.
    Request time off work to attend Commencement events.

*   Purchase Commencement Regalia
Visit the RSU Bookstore for details. Purchase regalia early to ensure best fit. Master’s candidates should reserve regalia by April 10, 2020.
*   Order your Commencement announcements and thank you notes
Visit Herff Jones. Act quickly as orders take several weeks to process.
*   Have professional photo taken for announcements
Available during Commencement Countdown event. Visit Candid Color Photography for details.
    Attend Commencement
Be in line inside the Expo 40 minutes before the start of your ceremony.

    Respond to the 200 RSU Graduate Survey
RSU graduates are encouraged to provide feedback to the university through its annual graduate survey, which helps the university evaluate the effectiveness of its programs and services. Take the survey now: Bachelor’s and Associate | Master’s
    Obtain permission to use professors and employers as references on your resume.
*   Visit Career Services to polish your resume and hone your interview skills
    Attend a Career or Graduate School Fair
RSU Career Internship & Graduate School Fair and Tulsa Collegiate Job Fair
    Apply for jobs online
*   Remain in touch with your Alumni Association
