Now in its third year, Art on the Hill provides a celebration of fine arts in northeastern Oklahoma. The two-day festival featured an art show and sale, live music, theatre performances, food vendors and children’s activities. Proceeds from the event support fine arts scholarships for area students.

“We had a great selection of art and artists this year, and the response from both the patrons and the artists was very enthusiastic,” said RSU First Lady Peggy Rice, who served as event co-chair with Gary Moeller, head of the RSU Fine Arts Department.

The event was sponsored by Key Construction, Patron sponsor; Master sponsors: Oklahoma Arts Council, Larry and Peggy Rice, Bill Beierschmitt, Robson and Robson; Aficionado sponsors: Cherokee Nation Artists, RCB Bank, TRC Disaster Solutions, Walmart; and Apprentice sponsor: AT&T.
