“I’m grateful to be here and I’m thankful for Coach McCormick, he has been a great coach.”
Q. When and why did you start running cross country?
A. I started running cross country my senior year of high school. I played soccer all throughout high school and we ran all the time. I decided to try it my last year and found that I was really good at it, even better than I was at soccer.
Q. What made you decide on RSU?
A. Well, it was going to be the first year Rogers was going to have cross country and I wanted to make history. There will be more people who run cross country for the university in the future, but I will always be a part of the first team. That’s memorable.
Q. What are your career plans?
A. I’m studying business administration right now and one day I’d like to own my own business.
Q. What accomplishments are you most proud of?
A. I have only lived in the United States for six years and when I moved here I didn’t know English at all. I learned the language very quickly and I’m completely fluent now. I’m currently studying French. I hope to learn as many languages as I can.
