  1. Search for journals
  2. If the library owns the publication, the results screen indicates:
    • Date range
    • Location
    • Item type (print, electronic, or microfiche)
  3. Access electronic journals through the database link on the results screen

    • Item type (print, electronic, or microfiche)
  3. Note:  Off campus you cannot access electronic journals by clicking on the results screen link. See Step 4.
  4. From the results screen note which database includes the journal you want to search.
  5. Use Off-Campus Method to access the specific database
  6. Limit your search to the electronic journal you want to search.

 Note:  The STL Electronic Journals portal includes information on

     

    • journals

    • newspapers

    • magazines

    • Other periodical publications
