The RSU Student Art Association will hold its first annual Student Art Show and Sale Monday, Dec. 4, through Friday, Dec. 8 in the Baird Hall Foundations Gallery.
“The show and sale will include original art work from emerging student artists,” said Gary Moeller, RSU professor of art.
Artwork will include drawings, paintings, photographs, sculpture, pottery, graphics designs and mixed-media. The items are ideal for holiday gifts and home décor.
“This is a way for the public to invest in the future of young artists,” Moeller said.
Proceeds from the sale will benefit the Student Art Association. The funds will be used to support educational opportunities for association members including trips to museums and other cultural destinations.
The art sale will be held during regular gallery hours 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each weekday. Cash and checks are accepted and all sales are final.
