RSU Public TV to Seek Public Input Oct. 7 at Hardesty Library

RSU Public TV will host a “listening event” at Hardesty Regional Library, 8316 E. 93rd St. in Tulsa, Thursday, Oct. 7 from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m.

The public is invited to attend and refreshment will be served.

The stations’ general manager, Dan Schiedel, and programming and membership coordinator, Stephanie Baumgarte, will lead the event. They hope to learn more about the likes and dislikes of their viewers and solicit ideas for future programming.

“RSU TV recently completed a three-year strategic plan and community involvement was identified as a key area of development,” Baumgarte said. “This event is one of many we have planned where we hope viewers will voice their opinions of the station.”

RSU Public Television – licensed to Rogers State University and Oklahoma’s only University licensed Public Television station – exists to serve the University, students, its members and citizens of Northeast Oklahoma with innovative television programming and services of the highest quality, using new technologies to advance education, culture and citizenship.
