RSU Pryor to Host April 5 Concurrent Enrollment Night for High School Students

Rogers State University Pryor will host a special enrollment night for area high school juniors and seniors who wish to earn college credit by taking concurrent classes on campus.

The RSU Pryor Concurrent Enrollment Night will be held at 6 p.m., Tuesday, April 5, at the RSU Pryor campus, located at 2155 Highway 69A at MidAmerica Industrial Park.

RSU Pryor staff will be on hand to enroll students in RSU’s concurrent classes that allow juniors and seniors to earn college credit while still in high school. Concurrent classes provide several benefits for students, including:

  • getting a head start on college,
  • earning college credits early,
  • getting a taste of the academic and social aspects of college life, and
  • receiving free tuition, for up to six credit hours per semester (fall and spring), a significant savings for students and their parents.

Before enrolling, students will need to complete an RSU application for admission ($20 application fee), an RSU concurrent enrollment application and a high school transcript with ACT scores. Applications can be found online at www.rsu.edu/admissions/concurrent.
