RSU Online Business, Management Degrees Among Nation’s Most Affordable

Rogers State University’s degrees in both management and business administration have been ranked among the nation’s most affordable online bachelor’s degrees, according to a recent report by an independent consumer group.

GetEducated.com ranked RSU’s bachelor of science in organizational leadership 12th for affordability among the nation’s online management degrees, while the business administration degree was ranked 13th most affordable in the nation for online business degrees.

The report, released this month, noted both RSU online degree programs were about 40 percent less expensive for Oklahoma residents when compared to the national average.

This is not the first time the firm has recognized RSU’s online degrees, as it honored RSU’s applied technology and business information technology bachelor’s degree programs last fall. The applied technology and business information technology online degrees were honored as “best buys,” ranked 8th and 10th respectively in GetEducated.com’s national survey of online computer science degrees.

GetEducated.com is an independent consumer group in Essex Junction, Vt., that rates and ranks online colleges for cost and credibility. The organization recently released the results of its nationwide survey of college affordability for regionally accredited online bachelor’s degrees in business and management. To develop the rankings, GetEducated.com surveyed regionally-accredited online programs from about 150 colleges and universities.

RSU offers five bachelor’s degrees completely via the internet through its RSU Online program, including applied technology, business administration, organizational leadership and business information technology, with options in software development and multimedia and computer network administration.

RSU Online also offers a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts and associate degrees in applied technology, business administration, liberal arts and computer science. RSU Online programs are open for enrollment of Oklahoma residents who meet the university’s admission criteria.

“RSU remains committed to providing affordable online classes and degree programs that meet the needs of working adults in northeastern Oklahoma,” said RSU President Dr. Larry Rice. “Our online programs allow students to take a class or complete a degree when time or distance don’t allow them to enroll in a traditional class.”

In addition to its affordable degree offerings, RSU works with students to develop financial aid packages that best meet their individual needs.
