Rogers State University’s music programs will present a Fall Concert on Monday, Oct. 17, 2011.
The concert will be held in Will Rogers Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. Admission is a canned good donation to benefit the food bank at the First United Methodist Church of Claremore.
The concert lineup features the University Choir, Jazz Ensemble and the first performance by the RSU Concert Band.
The RSU Concert Band formed this fall and includes musicians from the RSU staff and student body, as well as the local community.
RSU also continues to invite community members to participate in the Concert band, which rehearses each Thursday; the Jazz Ensemble, which rehearses on Mondays; and the University Choir, which rehearses on Tuesdays. All practices are held from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Old Student Union on RSU’s Claremore Campus.
