RSU Announces New Coordinator of Career Services

Rogers State University has selected Calli Knight of Claremore as the new Coordinator of Career Services. She started at RSU on June 17.

Knight will plan, implement and evaluate career development programs and recruitment events for the university. She will also connect students and alumni to relevant career, internship and graduate school opportunities.

“I am thrilled to join the Student Affairs team at Rogers State University,” Knight said. “As the coordinator of career services, I look forward to supporting students and alumni alike on their career search path.”

Dr. Brent Marsh, vice president for student affairs at RSU, said Knight’s professional experience and energetic personality will help her connect students and alumni with positive career options.

“Calli has the communication skills and the business experiences to help connect RSU students and alumni with professional opportunities that best fit their needs,” Marsh said. “Her experience working with both young and experienced professionals make her a great fit for career services and the RSU community.”

Knight worked as a press representative, social media coordinator and marketing assistant for Celebrity Attractions from May 2008 until June 2013. In addition to promoting events, she designed and supervised the programming for high school interns. Since then Knight has worked as an accountant, marketing coordinator and educator in and around the Claremore area.

Knight earned a bachelor of science in business administration with a major in accounting from Oklahoma State University in May 2008. She also volunteers with high school and college student groups at First Baptist Church in Claremore.
